Cache

After editing a taxonomy or a Wheel-Size mapping, purge so changes take effect before the TTL expires.

Purge responses clears the composed-response cache only — instant, no quota (use after taxonomy / name edits). Rebuild Wheel-Size also drops the raw WS cache + written-back rows, forcing a re-fetch (spends quota as traffic re-warms — use after mapping changes).

Taxonomies

A taxonomy is the selectable make/model/year set assigned to a website. Its region is the Wheel-Size / fitment source; taxonomies of the same region share fitment data but can expose different vehicle lists.

Edit vehicles

Websites (tenants)

Each website calls the API with a tenant key (Authorization: Bearer <key>) and is assigned a taxonomy that decides which vehicles it sees. The key is shown once — only its hash is stored.
